Jacket Class

Come join us as we turn a plain sweatshirt into a work of art that will become your go to on chilly mornings. This jacket is made with the foundation of a pullover sweatshirt. We will take it apart and cover it with your choice of fabrics and then put it all back together again!
Preparation for class is to deconstruct the sweatshirt. This includes removing the cuffs, collar, wrist bands and bottom waistband. Then remove sleeves from the body of the garment.
Supplies
*pullover sweatshirt one size bigger than you normally wear.
*fabric to cover all areas of the sweatshirt. This can be yardage, fat quarters, jellyroll or scraps. If using yardage approximately 3 yards will be needed, you can also use an orphan block(s)!
*sewing machine in good working condition
*90/14 needles to fit your machine
*thread to coordinate
*24" separating zipper
*usual sewing notions (snips, scissors, pins, clips etc.)
Price for class is for both days (includes pattern).
